The Dome Rules acronym team was one of the first formed shortly after Acrophobia's debut in the fall of 1997. To those who don't know, Acrophobia was a great online game which took up your entire screen. You entered the all ages or adult area and selected one of about 100+ rooms, each which could hold up to 14 players. It was a city of game rooms, where people would compete by constructing acronyms derived from 3-7 letters. A league was formed and additional rooms created for team play only. When the Matrix team disbanded (the founders opened a deli which enjoyed feisty business; apparently they fill a void where they are), I made my services available to Momcop**DR**. Seven and a couple of other friends were not too far behind. Their website recently had a facelift and a server change, so we offered revised bios for the pages. You can view mine and Seven's bio pages. The irony is in our awards, when for 2000 I won the Most Talkative award and Seven won one for Most Quiet Player. Glimpses of Acrophobia and the new javacronym game that one of our teammates programmed for the interim can be viewed on what I nickname my sour grapes page in EMH Journal. There are several more I've meant to add to that...

Interesting that the ST Doctor most people remember is good ol' Leonard 'Bones' McCoy.
Almost an archetype?

Interesting that the ST Doctor most people remember is good ol' Leonard 'Bones' McCoy. Almost an archetype? More a household word. And you realize of course that they couldn't do acronyms about me because that would be considered pandering, and pandering is taboo unless the topic is to pander. btw I neglected to mention that the third owner of Acrophobia shut it down May 2001 to rewrite it for NT server They've yet to bring it back, hence alternate resources have popped up. For my money, Literati and Pool on Yahoo are a lot more fun than suffering inferior programs to make a few acronyms. Except Joe's room is stable and closest to Acrophobia's format.
