Last night I couldn't enter my dinner food into my journal (we're all using our -er- "meal planning" accounts to better understand what our subscribers do), and the site was down. This morning it was down when I checked it during breakfast. It's down now as I sit here at my desk. No, we weren't expecting an upgrade requiring more than 12 hours. We're being debriefed now about what to reply to people with when the site is back up and angry dieters are going to descend on us with a vengeance. Most dietary accounts reset on Friday morning (presumably because they want to weigh themselves before their weekend recklessness ), so there's a lot more happening this morning than any other morning of the week. Here we go again! "Brace for impact!!!"

keep 'em angry. It burns calories.................... On the other hand, it also encourages comfort eating. Hmm, tricky. Is there a middle ground to just keep them fidgeting and pacing without needing to snack? A very slow download or something?

Is there a middle ground to just keep them fidgeting and pacing without needing to snack? A very slow download or something? Burns calories... You know what happened? We were there all day goofing off. I even transcribed more of my novel. I wish there was someone to play Literati with... at 2:37pm an exec came by to declare it a "snow day" and we went home. The irony was that I caught an ad for the site on My Yahoo page last night, but there was nothing of substance to click to. This calls for a "D'OH!" The site was back up last night at about 11pm. At least nothing had been lost (including my fatal lesson on eating two fried meals in one day. For the first time I owe POINTS) I don't envy the weekend crew. Angry dieters are nothing to sneeze at. I know we'll have lots to do on Monday. I told my supervisor to call me if she needed me in earlier. What's that Captain? I'm doing that now! holds on to nearest biobed
