It's true. Seven of Nine is coming to visit tomorrow. She's staying for a week.
That's a lot of singing lessons.

"The other night dear.......as i lay sleeping......i dreamed i held you in my arms.......when i awoke dear.......i was mistaken.........and i hung my head and cried!"
"You are my sunshine......my only sunshine......you make me happy.......when skies are gray.......you'll never know dear.........how much i love you.........please don't take my sunshine away!"

Actually, I have a few more Klingon drinking songs to run by her.

Yeah.......you can teach her The Barge Song.............it's Klingon. I would have displayed it here since i have it on my computer.........but it is in Klingon and very hard to write down. *At least for me!*

Hope she didn't bring that redskin guy along... Difficult. He lives with me (chained to the bedpost usually). ;D

Welp, Seven is by now at the airport. I would have gone, but there's been a bus strike, and although it's a 15 minute cab ride to LGA, going back would have meant at least 2 hrs via public transportation. For four of my working days, we sat together the night before and printed out maps and plotted her course through streets and destinations. She saw a great deal and got LOTS of exercise ;D Naturally when we met after work, I got lots of exercise too as we went to a different type of restaurant every night. Seven took in the gamut of cultures, from the foods we ate to the communities we ventured into. And probably saw more than her fill of subways. So now it's back to "normal" for me: The BBS, selling stuff on eBay, prepping pics for my sequel Pets story... and laundry, RPGs, as well as continuing to transcribe my novel.

And simming... (taps foot impatiently) Yes yes I realized I had to work on that dreaded engineering auto post (I'm a doctor, not an engineer) and some reaction - or nonreaction - for Mark Zimmerman at the reception for Lont (see USS Aventura). If it's any consolation, I did a post for the Doctor on Voyager last night. I'm getting there.
