What a funny accident. ;D
I once saw a mother with her two child twins on a playground and she called them : Jean-Luc, Deanna, come here... What do you think, will the state allow me to call one of my future kids EmergencyMedicalHologram-MarkOne? *ggg*

If you name any of them Schmullus, we'll disown you!

Trekkers get everywhere
I knew one who ran a major multinational company back in the 80's but my Secrecy Clause stops me telling you who!

In Germany we have a famous polititian. She said in an interview, she'd be Trekkie and her dream of Germany would be something like the Federation. ;D
@ Holodoc Don't worry. The name Schmullus won't come over my lips. Bob had enough names to name several children after him. (Cowboy, Wak, Starkiller, Mucklebones... At last there was not only Voyager *ggg*)

At last there was not only Voyager *ggg*) Heh. Meg Mucklebones. I remember suffering through the first half of that movie to satisfy my curiosity. I pity the performers who were in Legend. They looked like they were suffering through bad latex AND bad script. Advice: Don't name anyone after Dr Richards. That word means something else in English now.

I watched Legend several times finally even looking extremely exact at the unicorns cause I didn't find Bob. Meg Mucklebones. Hell, my friend and I even made jokes "Hey, look, Gates McFadden". ;D I know about the meaning of Dr. Richard's name... But even when you don't think about the naughty meaning. The parents had to be pretty rude to call their son Richard Richard, huh?

The parents had to be pretty rude to call their son Richard Richard, huh? Or just very, very unimaginative....

Or just very, very unimaginative.... Might be why the character made up for a family life of dullness with constant wisecracks. I wouldn't put it past the writers of China Beach to have had it all thought out.

I have to believe you as I never had the chance to see the show. Anyone agrees that Bob was on his best when he had no real name? Real men don't need no name. ;D
