Okay, this is good. True, it helps to have a faster connection and/or computer, and you need Windows, but Cybertown has to be the coolest form of online socializing thus far. You pick a username, pick an avatar, chat (or, in one instance, play tag ;D). You make virtual money, get a virtual house, and buy virtual stuff to put into it. Seven and I visited another home which had a waterfall on the property As you see, we've found our own avatars. (I was able to do a capture of myself with the aid of an inadvertent paradox) Sign up in Cybertown today and when you do, please list me as a referral? If you enjoy it as much as we do, tell your friends, and have them list you as well. When you get on (joining is called immigrating), message me here if you want information on where Seven and I live. We're not in the regular Star Trek neighborhood.

You really do like these chat communitys, don't you.
Not sure if it's worth my while, being in the 'wrong' time zone for you two, but as the other half is away this Saturday and next, I might stay up late....

Not sure if it's worth my while, being in the 'wrong' time zone for you two, but as the other half is away this Saturday and next, I might stay up late.... Well, it's the virtual things you get to do, getting stuff etc. I've been in touch with a couple of my favorite "stuff designers" and one even gifted me with a free treehouse (which I've yet to properly place outside on the front lawn). And to put my own art in frames for people to have or buy, I will have to learn 3D graphics, a new area of creativity to master. These and the fact that most of my friends have dispersed throughout the country, and cyberspace is the only means to get together with them. This Saturday I will be fixed at Vir-con. I got the cheapie day ticket with an added discount, and I want to see whether this pans out or goes belly up. I'll no doubt be around before then, and of course on Sunday morning we can fix a time. Email me or leave an IM if you want me to take you around town and on a pre-housewarming tour of our house.

Looks great, but to be honest, I'm not sure if my computer will cooperate... Not mine... And here on work I don't want to have my social life. *lol* In fact my social life is done by someone else. Had to think of it when I saw the site. My best friend is playing The Sims and she put me and Bob into a house together. Well, I don't want to bore you with details, but our relation is working very well. Long live the cybers.... pace...

Well, I don't want to bore you with details, but our relation is working very well. Long live the cybers.... pace... LOL Pinky. I think Dr Jekyl had Doc and Seven living with Lewis living under the same roof in hers (I think I recall her saying that Dr. Z got into a lot of arguments with shopkeepers or something. It was a while back). But yours was the first I've heard with the player scanned in to play house ;D How are you two getting along? Updates: The chicken ran off, so Kes has taken over welcoming guests and looking after our place. Also, I've rigged up an alternate avatar so I can turn into the ECH whenever I want to. btw two things: I tried an older version of Blaxxun (the virtual plug-in) and found it very rough moving. The latest version 5 is much smoother. Also, people with IE6 experience a lot of difficulty (because IE6 is inferior to 5. hey it happens), so everyone is encouraged to downgrade, which is surprisingly easy if you had IE version 5.0 or 5.5 prior. For those who have not, it's a good idea to hit Tucows for the installation file of IE5 and have it on hand to upgrade as soon as you're back to version 4 which came with your system. I can do a much more careful and easier instruction post for this if anyone wishes. It's a relatively painless procedure. I'm close to locating a Borg alcove for Seven for the sleeping area. This is good because in about two weeks Seven and I plan to throw a house-warming party, and I want the place ready by then.
