DC Comics fans will be pleased to hear that Robert Picardo will be the voice of the superhero Blackhawk on The Justice League on Cartoon Network. The story arc is called "The Savage Time." Picardo's been doing voices for years, more recently for Buzz Lightyear and Grim & Evil, the latter as some opera-singing codfish. Those of you who get these on your cable systems be on the lookout

Picardo did Buzz Lightyear? As the father of a two year old, I can't believe I missed out on that. Was it on the animated feature they made? I think it was called Buzz Lightyear of Star Command; we don't have that one yet. (With emphasis on the "yet." ;D )

He was a a guest voice for Professor Reddschift in the episode "First Missions". I saw it this week. (And I think I'm too old to appreciate that sort of programming)

You'd be surprised at the number of actors who do voice work... I'd say I watch a fair number of cartoons and names that keeping popping up in credits include people like Charlie Addler and Tim Curry (now, that man is a legend).
Off the top of my head, other Trek actors that I know do voice work on a regular basis include Micheal Dorn (Worf) who's making quite a name for himself in the field as I understand it (most recognisable as the voice of I.M. Weasel of the show with the more-or-less same title) and Marina Sirwhatsitspelt and Jonathon Frakes who both did a Disney series called Gargoyles.

Patrick Stewart was the voice of "Number One," the leader of a mysterious cult on "The Simpsons."
I don't get cable, so the Cartoon Network remains a source of frustration for me until I can get a friend to tape some classic shows like "Hanna Barbera's Original Fantastic Four" series.

Patrick Stewart was the voice of "Number One," the leader of a mysterious cult on "The Simpsons." Really? I missed it. That sounds hyserical. I take it they snuck in "Make it so"? With all the junk they put out themselves now, there's less of the (good) classic stuff airing. Is FF still on Cartoon Network?
