As I watched Nightingale the other night, I was reminded of the funnier looking aliens the crew encountered along the way. I refer to the ones Harry shuttled around in that ep the Cauliflower People, even though they really don't remind me of cauliflower per se. It's just that their ears look 0 funny. Of course pondering this concept, one of the first ones which come to mind are the Hierarchy of Potato Heads. The Tak Tak from Macrocosm have this stuff running from their nose to their chin. How do these guys eat? One of the stranger - and more cleverly designed - aliens appears in The Void. If you've seen this episode, you probably already know who I'm thinking of. I call him Mister Parrot. He looks like a typical humanoid ridgehead from the front, but one look at his profile and I want to fetch the Saltines. Any bizzarities you'd like to bring to the table? (Not necessarily while the crew is eating, of course)

Just to keep the discussion totally trivial, I want to know what range of hair products the Kazon use. Never a hair (or whatever that is on their heads) out of place, how do they do it?

No, I'm with Christina - the Kazon would have to be using some sort of hair-holding agent. Of course, you wouldn't have had much experience with that sort of thing, Doc.

You had to go and bring that up... Anyway, their hair looks like the result of matting due to lack of hygiene. I'll bet they smell like it, too.

Getting back on topic, I have to agree with the Doc here...I always assumed that the Kazon just had "dreds gone way wrong." ;D

Getting back on topic, I have to agree with the Doc here...I always assumed that the Kazon just had "dreds gone way wrong." ;D In the book Mosaic, it's suggested that they add adornments to their hair to mark their milestones or achievements. I never saw that in evidence on the show. It might have been Jeri Taylor's original intentions for them. I guess that would imply that in their society, the one with the most crap in their hair wins.
