This is about the time the daffodils are in full bloom here. But already they're dying off and making way for tulips.
For the first time since I came to New York, I have the air condition on in April. May always had dibs on the year's first freak days in the 80s F. Tomorrow they expect the 90s F.
Me not happy camper. Change in weather too extreme. Wish lived North.

We had it too---two days of high nineties a month early. It's not unheard of---I remember it happening about 15 years ago. Wonder if it is a sign of a weird weather summer??
We had our first severe thunderstorm last night. I saw on TV that the wind blew the windows out of 18 cars at a factory near my home. Luckily we were spared. My son wasn't so lucky. The wind blew parts of his roof down on to his pickup truck parked below. He's also not a happy camper.

Last time we had something close to this was in 1996, when we had near 100F in May, then a great summer.
