At long last, here it is!
2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate square 2/3 cup powdered fructose* 1/4 cup soy powder (more or less) 1/2 T soy margarine 2 T natural peanut butter, without salt Water
1) Cut up the chocolate into small pieces.
2) Mix soy power with water to make 2/3 cups very thick batter (more like mud)
3) Combine in saucepan in low heat and stir until stuff is smooth and hot.
4) Heat without stirring but don't burn.
5) Remove from heat and add margarine and PB and swirl in w/o a sspoon (move the saucepan around)
6) Let cool for 5 min
7) Stir w/sspoon until no longer glossy.
8) pour in container and chill.
9) carve into squares and nosh no more than one per day. A little square will satisfy your chocolate fang better than all the candybars on Mars.
Special Notes:
Overstirring during step 7 can lead to siezing. I guess the you'll have Safe Tootsie Rolls. LOL
*This is crystallized fruit sugar, not the corn garbage. High Fructose Corn Syrup is worse than sugar.
This was modified from a straight fudge recipe. Since one puts 1/3 amt of fructose to the recommended req sugar, there was less binding material. Thickening up the soy mix and adding peanut butter compensates to yield the right solidity.
