Six reasons alone why the Intrepid Class should have a counselor on board.

I never did understand the whole "counselor" thing - what was she doing on the main bridge of the Enterprise? Why not just employ a full-blown telepath and admit that you're cheating? At least Voyager never stooped so low...
As for the poll, I've got to get a couple of eps out to check up on - will comment soon. (They were all so long ago, sooo long ago)

^^^ For some of us, they were only yesterday... ;D
Looks like great minds think alike, Doc...assuming that it was you who voted for Latent Image. This episode was a showcase for many of the things I loved about Voyager: Picardo's acting abilities; the EMH character and his personal journey; a fearlessness on the part of the writers to tackle meaningful ethical issues; and an ending that wasn't tied up with a pretty ribbon, but that was actually pretty messy. The scenes between Janeway and the Doctor were some of the most poignant in Voyager's run.
That being said, these were all pretty good episodes...although I didn't care for Demon much. As I've said elsewhere, I am one of the four or five fans out there that actually liked Threshold. I thought Alice was, um, spooky? That's the only word that comes to mind...It scared me. Blood Fever is also on my list of favorites.
However, my absolute favorite "Crewmember goes crazy" episode is one you didn't list, Doc: Meld. Tim Russ was at his best in this episode, and the fellow who played the psychopathic Ensign was perfectly cast for the role. This one's in my Voyager top five, and probably in my Trek top ten as well.

Looks like great minds think alike, Doc...assuming that it was you who voted for Latent Image. Actually, I just voted. Latent Image is my favorite Doctor episode, and there are moments where Picardo's acting is just beyond words. Not just delivery, but the whole body and being. Like when Chakotay, Seven, and Tom enter Sickbay to make arrangements for Doc's reprogramming. First the anxiety when they enter, then the withdrawn behavior when Tom tries to get info on tests in progress, and finally when his anger over his rights being violated changes into an expression which can best be interpreted into "I must have done something horrendous if even Tom Paris thinks this is justified" before following Tom into the lab. Howeverm the gaping flaw iin this episode was the whole reason for his freakout. Harry Kim wasn't the Doctor's friend. And being a Bridge officer and department head, Kim was more important to the crew regardless of like rank to Jetal. The original script had Jetal with a crush on Doc, and some connection to justify a conflict was removed in the final draft. Not exactly a freakout. He was more coldblooded and shrewd. It's the True Tuvok without his discipline. Nothing jarring there for him. It's always with him just like Seven's myriad assimilated personalities are always with her. Demon was pretty silly, but set the stage for Course: Oblivion.Raven was the first time we realized that Jeri Ryan was a REAL good actress. And B'Elanna for the B'Elanna/internal conflict between bloodlines fans...

I thought Course: Oblivion was pretty silly, too... Not as silly as Demon. In CO, only Liquijaneway was silly.

That's the one where Tuvok is giving her mandatory meditation therapy after having smashed the Doctor's first holoimager.
Oh yeah, and her biggest tantrums since Blood Fever
The Malon: aliens of the year

Well, I went with Latent Image... one of my favourite episodes from the whole damn show. I enjoyed this one enough that I actually went and bought it on video (helped by the fact it had 'Bride of Chaotica!' as the other episode). <br> The plot and acting are superb - it's an episode that makes you think. It's just a shame there weren't further repercussions from it.

Duh. Juggernaut, Dreadnaught.
What did I come in here for?

Juggernaut's the one where B'Elanna's in a pissy mood and has to help figure out the truth behind a mythological demon in the bowels of a Maalon garbage scow.

Figured that out now. Let the vote stand. I like B'Elanna anyway.
