Does anyone know the difference between anal retentive and obsessive compulsive? Just curious... They often share similar manic displays. But one's an organizational skill gone wrong, and one is the inability to give the immediate past a slip. See, in the former, they have a certain thing in their minds about how things should be. In the latter, it's a mental reflex, a bad loop, a... Did you want a clinical definition of the two? |

Without wishing to appear as an anal retentive or as an obsessive compulsive I had the idea that I might return to the topic of the thread. If that's OK with y'all?
Favourite Son, as mentioned in another post, was a good example. And what about The Thaw? It's whole feeling, from the colours used and the subject matter was sooo sixties.
I still haven't seen any Enterprise eps yet (Endgame hasn't reached my town yet, either!) but is there any 60's feel to that show?

...( My question is: were there any eps of Voyager that related directly back to TOS, and I mean by story line rather than having Sulu appear as Tuvok's old captain? I'd like to add (while I cannot name the episode off hand) the time Janeway is spekaing about how they live in a different time than Kirk and Spock and McCoy and how so much was unexplored in their days and what she wouldn't give to have ridden shotgun with them just once. Also, Dr. Zimmerman's pet holo-iquana(sp?) was named LEONARD. I like to think that is was named after Leonard McCoy and famous doctor in his own right. There was a time in doc's search for a name that among names he'd throw out in thinking was 'McCoy'. |
